Volunteer at Homewood Science Center
Volunteers play an important role in supporting Homewood Science Center’s mission to inspire curiosity and expand access to STEM learning. By sharing your time and skills, you help create welcoming, hands-on science experiences for families, students, and educators in our community. And it’s FUN!

New Opportunity for 9th-12th Graders!
Teens who love STEAM — this one’s for you.
What is the STEAM Team? The STEAM Team is a new youth leadership group at Homewood Science Center for high school students who are excited about science, technology, engineering, art, and math–and want to help shape programs and experiences for younger learners and families.
What will the STEAM Team do? STEAM Team members will share ideas, provide leadership, create exhibits, and volunteer at programs.
What is the time commitment? The group meets once a month on the last Friday, from 4:30–5:30pm.
Pizza & drinks provided at each meeting!
Current Volunteer Needs
STEM Saturdays from 9:30am-1:30pm
• Greeting Attendees
• Facilitating activities
• Assisting Special Presenters
• Cleaning before, during, and after event
